Magsyotang Jeepneys!
Biyernes, Mayo 9, 2008
Pansinin ang title ng post ko,
tama ba un? merong jeep na magsyota?!
tama!
(this is a true to life story...)
"I..I..I..I love..I Love You!"
at inulit pa niya ito, "I Love you! I love you!"
at ang nakakagulat, sumagot si jeep B " i love you! i..i..i..i love you!
"ilove you!" sabi ni jeep A.
Jeep B, tumugon naman, "i love you!"
-may mga pagkakataon na kahit gaano nyo kamahal ang isat-isa, kelangan nyong maglayo, kahit pangsamantala, tulad nina jeep A (byaheng tropical), at jeep B (byaheng Crossing) di sila pedeng laging magkasama!
-lesson na natutunan ko..nakakatuwa palang gawing busina ng jeep ang "i love you" dahil may natututunan at kalokohang kwento at katopakang naiisip ang kagaya ko! hehehe!
*masarap marinig ang mga salitang i, love at you, or mahal at kita, lalo na kung mula sa puso!
corny man, totoo pa rin!
I Love YOU! -sabi ng Jeep

Pangarap (vs.) Tungkulin

...there are things more important than your dreams"
-the Fullmetal Alchemist

A Great Philosophy
Biyernes, Mayo 2, 2008
"To plant a tree,
To write a book,
And to Father a son..."
- Atty. Ngo
I've learned this from Atty. Ngo himself in our class. This is his philosophy in life. Now, he only have one more thing to do. And that is to finish his book. I didn't take these words literally, i have my own interpretation of it. Like him, I will be using this as my philosophy in life.
Here's my own interpretation of the phrase:
To plant a tree. Everything we have didn't come from nothing. They were given to us by someone/s, or even by something/s. These someone/s and something/s are our silent partners in getting what we have. They could be our families, friends, neighbors, teachers/masters, forefathers, country, our nature, and especially, GOD. Whether we admit it or not, without them, we can't be who, what, and/or where we are now, or we would be, tomorrow. So as a partner, we have the duty to return the favors to them. We have to plant trees. Don't take it literally, the tree which i'm referring to, doesn't have to be a real tree, it could be something which is like a tree. A tree which can give fruits, oxygen, refuge, inspirations, colours, and life. It's up to us what tree we will be planning to plant. Just remember this, whatever kind of tree it is, take care of it and let it grow.
To write a book. A book is a source of power - - knowledge. It can also be used for entertaining souls, giving them laughter and joy. It can inspire people, bring them to different places and let them discover/see things which they have never seen before or even they haven't got a knowledge that they exist. This is what we have to do. To let others know what we know, learn what we have learned, be inspired from which we've been inspired. If you can't write a book, then try to be a book!
To father a son. Obviously, it should not be taken literally, else all women and some other impotent men will not be able to achieve this. A son can be a real son or daughter, but he can also be an "it". Meaning, something which has personality(like corporations/charitable institutions) or even not(like partnerships/community.) There is a story I will tell you which I have learned either from Discovery Channel or National Geographic, from whichever it be, there is a british man who got a son but has no wife (as what my memory says). Despite of it, he still manage to take care of his son more than a diligent father, with a diligent wife, could do. His son is now one of the most richest and famous in the world. Even though he was gone for more than a hundred years by now, his name is still being borne by his son. He named his son, Singapore - - center of science and studies. We don't have to be as great as that british man, but if we wish to, we can be so. It's a calling for everyone, be a father of a son, whom will also be a father of another son on his generation and so on.
*if everyone will live by this philosophy, i think everyone would die happily, joyfully and filled with success in their hearts. Every name will be written before the phrase "the great." How inspiring, although I'm not intending to have it but it sounds really good, "Tajo the great." Cooooll!
